AGORA Hospitalities Co., Ltd. is proud to announce its opening of a newly branded hotel in Fall 2019. This hotel is named “AGORA・KANAZAWA”, and will accept reservations starting from November 1st on our official website (http://www.agora-kanazawa.com).

SATEI：A place to experience the town spirit. Proudly original with a sense of Kanazawa.

AGORA・KANAZAWA will be the first of our newly branded hotels that expands into the “Town”. As a tea residence which welcomes its guests with the heart of tea ceremony, Satei also incorporates the spirit of tea ceremony into its service style, not only within the hotel but we also enable our guests to have once in a lifetime encounter in the “Town”.

The hotel is located in Kanazawa Katamachi, a castle town from the Kaga Domain of the Edo period, where rich culture has been cultivated by the people who have been gathering here over the years. This rich culture has a sense of pride and is full of originality. By grasping the spirit of Kanazawa and welcoming guests together with Kanazawa’s “Town” people, our goal is to enable our guests to experience true culture of Kanazawa.

The AGORA・KANAZAWA name and Logo

An illustration of our hope of enabling guests to interact with people from the “Town” and experiencing contact with the real culture, we incorporated the image of visiting guests, welcoming host, and “people of the town” into our logo. Additionally, our corporate name “AGORA” has the meaning of “people gathering” and “now” further emphasizing our goal to enable guests to experience the culture of Kanazawa Katamachi.
